From April-June 2011, Santosh Kumar, the Farm Manager of MSCNFE, went to Japan to observe agricultural environment and to acquire the techniques of organic farming in Japan.
During his stay in Japan, he visited and got support from Ainou Kai, Ainou High School, Kumamotoshi to Inochi wo Kangaeru Kai, Mountain Ham Studio GOBAR, Shimosato Farm, Yamasato Farm, etc. He received warm, Japanese hospitality, and as a return, was able to let them know about the farm and village situations in India. ASHA believes that this kind of interactions and exchange between people from developing countries and Japan are very critical opportunities for all of us to think about what must be done in the agriculture scenes in Japan henceforth.
